Successful Bidding:  Winning every auction on eBay!

Have you ever wondered how you could successfully win every auction you bid on on eBay?  Have you ever noticed that some bidders seem to win at the "very last moment" just before an auction ends?  Now you can be successful at winning every auction on eBay too!

Recently I read a study done by researchers Yang and Kahng.  They analyzed 264,073 items sold on eBay and found that winning bidders are much more likely to have placed a single bid late in the auction (snipe), rather than placing multiple incremental bids as the auction progressed.

In May, John McDonald, Senior Director of Trust& Safety on eBay made an announcement regarding eBay "linking policies". The following changes were to come into effect on July 31st, 2008:
